Cute Polka Dot French Nails featured on nailsmag

1.Apply sparkly white acrylic to the free edge and sheer pink acrylic over the rest to create a French. (I would use just a light pink and on 3/4 of nails and on the tips use a white nail polish. Let dry then layer on tips only glitter polish for an easy diy. )
2. Use a striper brush and hot pink paint to highlight the smile line..

3.Use a dotter tool and black paint to add polka dots on the free edge. (You don’t absolutely need a dotter tool if your using a thin nail art brush)

4.Use a striper brush and purple paint to add a bow on the free edge. Apply a clear rhinestone in the center of the bow. (Don’t forget top coat to protect the rhinestone !)

DIY Tulle Nails

DIY Tulle Nails
Tulle fabric is inexpensive, lightweight, sheer, and comes in a variety of different colors making it the perfect mixed media for nail art.
Materials
Nail polishes of different colors
Top coat/base coat
Tulle
Scissors
Directions
1.	Apply a base coat to a clean nail.
2.	Apply a solid colored nail polish of your choice and nail art designs. I chose to make simple flowers by dotting yellow nail polish and then apply a different vivid color as the petal using a haphazard dotting motion. The goal was to make the flowers appear unique not perfectly the same. Let dry.
3.	Cut out the desired tulle design using scissors or apply tulle to the whole nail for a fishnet look. Apply 2-3 layers of tulle . You can use one layer for a subtle look.
4.	Apply clear nail polish to nail and immediately apply the tulle to the nail using a gentle pressing motion. The goal is give the appearance of fishnet tights to nails. For a more dramatic look apply two layers of tulle. Or contrasting color of nail polish and tulle.
5.	Apply top coat. You may want to consider adding flat back crystals to make the look more glam.

DIY Nail Stickers

Here’s how to forego the expensive of nail stickers and frustration of trying to paint designs with your non-dominant hand.
Supplies:
Scissors
clear nail polish
color nail polish (for designs glitters are difficult to use in this project so stick to solid colors)
tweezers
Plastic Bag (clear plastic)sandwich bags are perfect
Or
Plastic Divider

Step 1: On the plastic bag draw out the design you desire with the color nail polishes and nail art brushes. To save money you can use art brushes found at crafts stores.
Step 2: Apply clear coat.
Step 3: Let designs dry. To be on the safe side let dry overnight.
Step 4:Lift designs off of the plastic bag using your hands. You want to carefully lift design without breaking it. If your need to use the tweezers.
Step 5: Apply clear nail polish to your nails that acts as a glue to hold design. Simply position decal to nail and apply topcoat to protect your creation.
