DIY A cup of Tea Hair color Enhancing Recipes
Want to enhance your natural hair color naturally without dyes. Here’s the solution. Note: Do not use on chemically damaged hair.
Tea rinse to bring highlights out in blond hair
Make a cup of chamomile tea (either with dried chamomile or commercial tea bags) with warm water for 30 minutes. Then squeeze the juice of a small lemon (optional) and mix into the tea. After you shampoo your hair, pour the tea on hair and let it remain for 1 minute. Rinse out with warm water. Repeat once a week. You will see a gradual difference in your hair. Do not expect to change hair color dramatically; it is natural highlight you will notice.
Tea rinse for dark hair
To bring a rich and dark sheen to brunette hair try this. Prepare 2 cups of dark tea (commercial black tea bags are ok). Then add 2 tablespoons of dried rosemary leaves to tea and let simmer for 30 minutes. After you shampoo your hair, pour mixture to your hair. Leave mixture in your hair for 1 minute. Massage the tea into your hair. Rinse the mixture with warm water. Repeat once a week.
